How do you structure a homeschool day without burning out?

We've been at this for eight months and I'm exhausted by 11am. I love homeschooling but I need a routine that doesn't drain me. What does your day look like?
Morning basket first — everyone together for 20 minutes of poetry, read-aloud and memory work. Then independent time. This changed everything.

We do a 3-day formal schedule and 2 days of more relaxed learning. The days off recharge us all.

Block scheduling: two subjects per day, done deeply rather than six subjects shallowly. Far less prep.
